Director – Marie-Clair Munro


Marie-Clair  has  always had  a passion for drama, in  2009 she  attended the  Royal Conservatoire where she completed an  Intensive  Acting  Course.  This subsequently led to work within the Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh. She now works as  a  director  on  their  LYT  programme where  she’s  able to her wealth of experience in television and radio.

After  undertaking  a  Journalism and Television  course  at Aberdeen she began her career as a junior reporter for the Trinity Mirror Group under the infamous  Kelvin  McKenzie. From there she has gone on  to  be one of the most popular and  flexible  presenters/broadcasters  in  Scotland,  with  a wealth of experience. With a career now spanning 15 years her projects run the gamut from news to entertainment and sport.

Marie-Clair’s also an accomplished radio broadcaster and worked with the likes of Tony Blackburn  &  Robin  Galloway.  She’s  also  had  the opportunity to broadcast live from  the  USA  and  Thailand.  Marie-Clair  has  written  for  a  number  of newspapers and magazines and had her own column in the Evening Times.

She’s worked for ITV-Daybreak, BBC, STV, Cbeebies, City TV Network,  Celtic TV, Scot FM, Kingdom FM,  Talk Radio &  Real Radio, GMG Scotland’s largest commercial Radio Station. Marie-Clair has also won some accolades  “BT News Journalist of the Year”,  GMG  Media Groups prestigious  “Best Radio Breakfast Show”, while the news programme she worked on was nominated for a Bafta Scotland Award.

She came up the idea & over all concept of the company after struggling to find high quality drama classes that her son could attend during the school holidays.
