Make the holidays fun with a performance experience from The Acting Scene. Banish the familiar cry of “I’m bored” with our unique courses for P4 – S2. A fun and exciting holiday course that explores a range of theatre skills based around our Musical Theatre theme Beauty and The Beast. Whether you’re child is an experienced performer or new to drama, we aim to facilitate the creative ideas of every child irrespective of ability. No previous drama experience required.

Description:

This course has been tailored for students who enjoy acting and performance. Each day participants take part in workshop based around our chosen theme. This will include acting exercises, voice skills, theatre games, mime, movement, and song.

Our aim is to encourage the young people to work together in a small and friendly group, developing their confidence, self-expression, communication skills, and imagination. All of these are vital skills they need for the future. Exact content may differ depending on students’ needs.

What To Bring/Wear

All students must bring a water bottle, snack and packed lunch: NO NUTS

Comfortable clothing: NO SKIRTS

Secure footwear:         NO CROCS

NOTE: All workshops are led and delivered by experienced theatre professionals with full PVG disclosures.
